The GOLFBUDDY Shot Mate Launch Monitor is a compact, easy-to-use practice tool that gives golfers real-time swing data, including club speed, ball speed, smash factor, and estimated carry or total distance. Portable and lightweight, it features a clear backlit LCD display, built-in kickstand, USB-C charging, and simple setup with no apps or subscriptions required.

Shot Mate also includes Practice Swing Mode, allowing you to measure club speed without hitting a ball, ideal for swing speed training, warm-ups, tempo work, and speed stick practice.

Modes & Functions:

GOLF MODE:
Measures club speed and ball speed at impact, then displays smash factor and estimated distance. Distance can be shown as either Carry or Total, allowing you to review the data that best suits your practice session.

PRACTICE SWING MODE:
Measures club speed without needing to hit a ball, making it ideal for swing speed training, speed sticks, warm-ups, and practice swings. Ball speed, smash factor, and estimated distance are not displayed in this mode.

CLUB SELECTION
Select the club number before measuring to help the device calculate the estimated carry or total distance based on club-specific data.

DISTANCE DISPLAY TOGGLE
Quickly switch between Carry and Total distance using the Mode button.

HISTORY REVIEW
Scroll through previous measurements to track your progress during a practice session.

Setup & Placement: Place the Shot Mate approximately 1.0 – 1.5 metres behind the ball with the radar area facing the ball and swing path. For best results, ensure there are no obstructions between the device and the ball. The built-in kickstand allows quick setup, and raising the device slightly may help improve recognition.

Care Notes: Shot Mate is a precision electronic device and is not waterproof. Avoid use in rain, humid conditions, dusty areas, or extreme heat. Protect the LCD screen from impact, avoid dropping the unit, and do not operate the buttons with hard objects such as golf clubs.
